Today, the knowledge and experience of geologists play a key role in protecting the environment. Our goal is to foster environmental awareness – especially among the younger generation – through engaging publications and maps about the past, present, and future of our planet.
Part of this effort is a series of educational geological maps. Their purpose is to illustrate the geological structure, natural formations, tourist attractions, and the interrelationships within both the living and non-living natural environments of individual regions of Slovakia.
