This project was implemented within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Slovak Republic (Component 19 – REPowerEU, Reform No. 1: Support for sustainable energy, partial measure No. 2: Improving the use of geothermal energy with the aim of passporting geothermal wells).
Project result: On the ŠGÚDŠ map portal, we created a new application that clearly links in one place:
-
Point data – detailed passports of specific geothermal resources.
-
Area information – a comprehensive overview of geothermal groundwater bodies.
The passport of a geothermal resource provides available data on:
- location,
- schematic geological-stratigraphic profile,
- production data and conditions of sampling,
- chemical composition of water,
- isotopic composition water,
- thermodynamic parameters of the reservoir environment/geothermal well,
- characteristics of the state of the geothermal well.
⚠️ Those interested in submitting and publishing information about a geothermal well must first, pursuant to Section 18 of Act No. 569/2007 Coll. on Geological Works (Geological Act), submit a final report with the calculation of groundwater quantities for approval to the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, which is assessed by the Commission for the Assessment and Approval of Final Reports with Calculations of Water Quantities and Geothermal Energy.
