In accordance with Section 13 of Act No. 569/2007 Coll. on Geological Works (Geological Act), as amended, the contractor shall report to the Dionýz Štúr State Geological Institute (ŠGÚDŠ) each geological work defined in the Geological Act no later than the day of commencement of the geological task. All reported geological works are registered and stored in the information system managed by the ŠGÚDŠ.

According to the Geological Act, it is also possible to report the relevant works electronically using the application.

The application includes a brief user manual. After completing the required tasks, you will receive a confirmation e-mail containing the registration number, which is stated on the title page of the final report. The e-mail includes a completed form with a map attachment in pdf format.

Pursuant to § 13 of Act No. 569/2007 Coll. on Geological Works (Geological Act) as amended, the contractor is obliged to report each geological work to the Dionýz Štúr State Geological Institute (ŠGÚDŠ).

⏱️ Important deadline: The report must be submitted no later than the day of commencement of the geological task. All reported work is then registered in the ŠGÚDŠ information system.

Electronic reporting (Online application)

You can report geological work quickly and conveniently electronically via our web application. A brief user manual is also prepared for you directly in the application interface.

1. Filling out the form: Online in the application.
Prepare the necessary data and fill in the mandatory reporting items (see the list of items below). The location is also plotted on the map.

2. Submitting the request: Immediate processing.
After checking the data, submit the form. The system will automatically register your request.

3. Confirmation delivery: To your email inbox.
After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email. It includes the completed form along with a map attachment in PDF format.

4. Entering the registration number: Final step.
In the confirmation email you will find the assigned registration number. You are required to include this number on the title page of the final report from the geological assignment.

What do you need to fill out in the form?

For a successful notification, prepare the following information in advance:

  • Participants in the procedure: Name and address of the contractor of the geological works + name and address of the customer.

  • Task details: Number, name and exact goal of the geological task.

  • Scope of work: Definition of geological work, stage of geological survey and precise specification (number and scope of work).

  • Location: Name and code of the cadastral area and the relevant district.

  • Time and finance: Estimated start and end date of work + sources of financing.

  • Contact: Information about the person who actually filled out the form.
