The structural Map M 1:2,000,000 is part of the Geological Map of the Western Carpathians and Adjacent Areas M 1:500,000, Lexa, et al., 2000.

    • Geological Map of the Slovak Republic, Vozár, J., Káčer, Š. et al., 1998, M 1 : 1,000,000

The geological Map shows the geological structure of Slovakia M 1:1,000,000. The levels contain point information (extrusive dome, slag cone, marry, nek), geological lines – tectonics and polygons (geological unit, age and lithology).

    • Geological Map of the Western Carpathians and Adjacent Areas, Lexa, J. et al., 2000, M 1 : 500,000

The geological Map shows the geological structure of the Western Carpathians M 1:500,000, which was compiled jointly by Slovak geologists and our colleagues from the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland and Ukraine. It contains geological lines – tectonics and polygons (formation, age and lithology).

    • General Geological Map of the Slovak Republic, Bezák, V. – chief editor, 2008, M 1 : 200,000

The Geological Map of Slovakia M 1:200,000 is a digital processing of the work General Geological Map of the Slovak Republic, V. Bezák et al., 2008. The map was printed and distributed on map sheets M 1:200,000 together with a common legend. The legend has 767 items, of which 300 are neovolcanites due to their detailed division into individual volcanoes. Extensive textual explanatory notes were written and opposed to the individual sheets, together with each map, supplemented with lithostratigraphic columns and other appendices.

💡 How does it work? > The content of the map window adjusts seamlessly according to the selected zoom level. The scope of the information and details displayed corresponds exactly to the legends in the printed versions of these maps.
